The Coffee Berry Borrer (Hypothenemus hampei) was first observed in coffee plantations in India in early 1990. These little black pests infect the coffee cherries and eat up the contents inside, destroying the fruit & the bean inside it.

Ran the @tcsw10k in Bengaluru on 21 May 2023, coming back to running after 3 and a half years. Was scheduled to run the Tata Mumbai Marathon in January 2023, but couldn't because my haemoglobin was down to a very dangerous low, I couldn't breathe, had to be hooked to an IV, and it has been an uphill journey since. Really didn't think I'll be able to finish. One thing after another kept going wrong, could hardly put in enough training hours.
