If you are an avid Game of Thrones fan like me, everything that even vaguely connects to the show catches your fancy. One thing that we see a lot in the show is alcohol, mostly wine, in various pitchers and flutes, being downed by various characters in plenty. Today, I share some of the Game of Thrones cocktail recipes that can be made easily, and make for a great viewing party or a theme party, or just for fun.
Sources for these recipes include Buzzfeed and Paste Magazine.

Fire and Blood
To make this, you need grenadine, 50 mL of white rum and a splash of your favorite spirit.
Pour the spirit into a glass and swirl it carefully so that the liquid covers the sides of the glass, then pour away the remaining alcohol. Pour a drop of grenadine into the bottom of the glass and then finish by pouring the rum on the top. Set fire to the alcohol before serving.

The Herbal Valar Morghulis
Of course, all men must die, and to make this you need

3 dashes Absinthe

Sprig of Lavender
Tonic Water
Shake all the ingredients together, except for the tonic water. Then double strain the drink through a sieve into a drinking horn packed with crushed ice. Top it up with the tonic water.

Chocolate Vanilla White Walker
White walkers are scary, but to make them sweet you need –
White chocolate liqueur
Vanilla cream soda
Blue Curacao
Fill a tall glass with ice, then fill it halfway with white chocolate liqueur. Fill the rest of the glass up with vanilla cream soda. Finally, slowly and gently, pour a spoonful of blue curacao over the top. The drink should look layered, light blue on the top and white below.

The Cinnamon Apple Red Viper
A shot of apple cinnamon in a far classier version of a deadly snakebite, to make this you need –
A bottle of hard cider
1 part firewater (100 proof cinnamon Schnapps)
1 part Bourbon
Splash of McGillicuddy’s Apple Pie
Cinnamon
Pour chilled hard cider into a tall glass. Line the rim of a shot glass with cinnamon. Add firewater, bourbon and McGillycuddy’s to the shot glass. Drop the filled shot glass into the cider. Enjoy!

Tonic Water

Cersei’s Sangria
Cersei is a lean, mean & ambitious queen. We all love to hate her as much as she loves to hate to love anything. She disdains everyone. That’s why this mix of snooty Sauvignon Blanc, Fruity Flavors, and sour lime are the perfect drink for our queen of mean. To make four servings, you need –
750 m Sauvignon Blanc
18-24 fresh cherries, pitted and sliced
1 lime
0.5 cup raspberries
0.25 cup of triple sec
Pit and slice the cherries and add them to a large pitcher along with the juice of half a lime. Pour the wine and triple sec in and allow in to steep for at least an hour. Immediately before serving, add in the berries and dice the remaining lime. Serve chilled. However, do not add all the lime all at once, otherwise, the drink turns out to be horribly bitter. Also, don’t add the raspberries too early either.
